Martin MacInnis

University of Calgary

Dr. MacInnis studies exercise and environmental physiology from an integrative perspective. A primary focus of his research is understanding how different types of aerobic exercise training affect skeletal muscle properties (e.g., oxidative capacity), the mechanisms that regulate these adaptations, and the relevance of these adaptations to indices of cardiorespiratory fitness.
