Dr. Michelle Cardoso has held the position of Assistant Professor in Kinesiology at l’Université de Moncton since 2018. Dr. Cardoso is an early career researcher who has focused her research efforts on better understanding human-system interactions in a workplace setting with the goal of optimizing well-being, productivity and performance. Dr. Cardoso’s research specialty is human factors/ergonomics and has over 10 years of experience working with different industrial partners, both nationally and internationally. Over the years, Dr. Cardoso has tackled different ergonomic problems, such as: industrial lifters, bus drivers, police officers, truck drivers, seat design, office workers, etc. Dr. Cardoso’s current focus is on healthcare and ergonomics.
