Travis Saunders is an Associate Professor and the former Jeanne and J.-Louis Lévesque Research Professor in Nutrisciences and Health at the University of Prince Edward Island. His research investigates the relationships between sedentary behaviour, physical activity, and health across the lifespan. His PhD research at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute was the first intervention to examine the cardiometabolic impact of uninterrupted sitting in children and youth.
