Martin Sénéchal

University of New Brunswick

Dr. Sénéchal is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and the Co-director of the Cardiometabolic Exercise & Lifestyle Laboratory (CELLAB). In addition, Dr. Sénéchal is an Affiliated Member of IMPART Team Canada (Inflammation, Metabolism, Physical Ability Research Translation) and a Certified Exercise Physiologist from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CEP). Dr. Sénéchal hold a Ph.D from University of Sherbrooke and most of his work relates to the impact of exercise and cardiometabolic health in people living with obesity and Diabetes. More specifically, his interests focus on how to make exercise more efficient in the prevention and the management of chronic diseases.
